For almost six years I spent hours upon hours at my desk to get this story down for family, history and the USMC. There is so much exciting research that can pull you in. Like a rabbit hole. Staying focused in my cave/office/gym was key.
I had no writers block and can research and write for hours. Then, to the joy of my husband, talk about it all!
