Book Tour Report
As you may know if you’ve been following my co author Don Brown and me on social media, or are part of my Facebook group, Discovering my Grandfather Maj. Gen. Rupertus, you can see these days book tours also include podcasts and video-casts, along with author talks and book signings.
We were honored to participate in these events and share this important history that is becoming relevant to today.
Since we launched Old Breed General in March 2022 at WTVI PBS in Charlotte NC, we’ve been a the North Carolina Marine Corps League detachment convention, Barnes and Noble Jacksonville, NC, The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA and the Reagan Library in Simi, California, and many places in between.
This September, we had a fabulous visit to Marine Corps Base Quantico to meet the Marine Corps Association Scuttlebutt Podcast team. Here is our fun interview that was produced by Nick Wilson, Vic Ruble, William Treuting, and Nancy Lichtman. We discussed our book Old Breed General, General Rupertus and much more.

Now, in case you missed the FAQS on this site. They are not about me! They are about General Rupertus. And, we added a scuttlebutt game. Is the scuttlebutt you may have read true or false? Check it out here: https://amyrupertuspeacock.com/faq/
